Use your camera and phone sensors to understand the world around you.

Features in this section

Video call: Open the camera and have an ongoing conversation with Doeviz. It can look at the surroundings and objects in the live camera view and answer your questions. You can also ask it to keep looking for something, watching for changes, or describing a scene without repeating your request.

Explore: Continuously describe what the camera sees or look for a target according to your request, without being interrupted.

Walking Assist: Continuously hear about obstacles in your direction of travel and receive suggestions for going around them.

Pedestrian signals: Identify whether the pedestrian signal ahead is red or green and locate crosswalk markings, with spoken, vibration, and sound alerts. Works offline.

Elevator floors: Hear announcements for calibrated floors as you ride an elevator. Speech and vibration alert you when you reach your destination floor, and you can also receive warnings if you travel in the wrong direction or pass your floor. Works offline.

Document reader: Follow spoken guidance to frame a document, then automatically capture and recognize the whole page. The result opens in a reading page, where you can listen at your own pace and copy the full text. You can also ask follow-up questions about the document in Chat.

Card scanning: Follow spoken guidance to photograph cards and IDs, such as identity cards and bank cards. The app crops the image so you can use it in other apps, and saves the cropped image to Photos.

Instant text: Move your phone to find short text nearby and hear it read aloud as it is recognized. Works offline.
