Video call
What it does
In a video call, Doeviz becomes your intelligent visual assistant. You can ask it to look at your surroundings or objects and answer questions. It can continuously look for objects or places, watch for changes, or describe what is ahead. It can help you read your phone screen or open other Doeviz features. There are more ways to use it for you to discover.
When to use it
Try asking Doeviz: “Tell me what is ahead.” “Help me find my backpack.” “Tell me when someone comes out.” “Navigate to the Forbidden City.” “What can video calls do?”
How to use it
Open “Video call” in Vision, point your camera toward what you want to understand, and tell Doeviz what you want to know.
Look and answer questions: Doeviz answers questions based on the live camera view. For example, ask “What is on the table?” or “What place is ahead?” You can ask follow-up questions after the answer.
Keep looking for something: Tell Doeviz what you want to find, such as “Help me find my backpack.” Move your phone to scan the area. Doeviz will keep looking as requested and automatically tell you when it finds the target.
Keep watching: Tell Doeviz what to watch for, such as “Tell me when it stops raining outside.” Point the camera toward the area you want it to watch.
Keep describing: To hear ongoing descriptions of the camera view, say something like “Keep describing the match for me.” Doeviz will continue describing what the camera sees according to your request.
Screen sharing: Tap the screen sharing button in the video call toolbar to share your screen with Doeviz. It can describe the screen as it changes, and you can ask about specific details. In apps with limited accessibility support, you can also ask which button has screen reader focus.
Feature commands: Use your voice to open other features, such as “Navigate to the Forbidden City,” “Help me check the traffic signal,” “Open Explore,” or “Open Document reader.”
