What it does

Chat is where you can ask Doeviz questions freely. Hold to speak or type a question, and hear the answer as it is generated. You can then ask follow-up questions. Questions and answers stay in your chat history so you can find and organize them later.

When to use it

Ask questions that come up in everyday life, ask about a document you have scanned, or find out what any Doeviz feature does and how to use it.

How to use it

Chat uses “Hold to speak” by default. Hold the button to start recording, then release it to send. To cancel, keep holding, slide your finger upward, and then release. You can also use “Switch to keyboard” to type.

Doeviz reads answers aloud automatically. Tap “Hold to speak” to interrupt the reading. Reading also stops when you leave Chat or switch to another app.

Doeviz can use recent conversation context to answer follow-up questions. Scanned documents and photos of cards and IDs are also saved in Chat, so you can ask more about them.

Text messages can be copied or deleted. Image messages can be saved to Photos or deleted. To remove all records, use “Clear conversation history.”
