Search places

What it does

Use the Navigate search box to find places nearby, in your city, or elsewhere and start navigation. You can view information such as distance, address, and phone number, and search for other places around the selected place.

When to use it

Search for a destination to start navigation, check the address and opening hours of a new shop, or find nearby pharmacies or restrooms.

How to use it

Search results: Results indicate places you have viewed recently. Choose “Relevance” to prioritize keyword matches, or “Distance” to show nearby places first. To search in another city, include the city name, for example, “Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.”

Nearby categories: Category buttons at the top of the search page let you find nearby food, cafes, convenience stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitals, bus stops, metro stations, banks, restrooms, hotels, and more. Select a category to see nearby places of that type, ordered by distance. After selecting a category, enter keywords to narrow the search within it.

Search history: Places you have viewed are remembered automatically. Delete them individually or clear the history at once.

Place details: View the name, distance, address, opening hours, and phone number. Tap the phone number to call. You can also add the place to Favorites.

Approach alerts: Turn this on to receive spoken and vibration alerts as you approach and reach the place.

Direction guidance: Turn this on to hear sounds and speech indicating the direction of the place and your distance from it.

Search nearby: Search for bus stops, metro stations, shops, public facilities, and other places around this location.
