Favorites

What it does

Save places and locations you visit often to Favorites so you can find them again easily. You can save places found through search or the coordinates of any location where you are standing.

When to use it

Favorites lets you start navigation quickly without searching again each time. Saved places can also serve as landmarks, such as a turning point or an entrance. Use a saved place's “Direction guidance” and “Approach alerts” to help determine whether you have reached that landmark.

How to use it

There are three ways to save a place:

Tap the save button on the Navigate home page to save your current coordinates. Enter a name, such as “Home entrance” or “West entrance at work.”
Search for a place and save it from its details page. Its original name, such as “Forbidden City,” is kept.
Save your current location at any time during walking navigation to use it as a landmark.

Favorites can hold up to 100 places. If you save another place after reaching the limit, the oldest saved place is removed.

The first 3 places in Favorites appear at the bottom of the Navigate home page for quick access. Reorder your Favorites to choose which places appear there.
